With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Lee Murphy (Brandon, South Dakota), born in Winner, South Dakota, who passed away on May 7, 2018 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Murphy and Margaret Murphy (Speckman); his stepfather Alfred Koos; his sister-in-law Gayle Kerslake; and his nephew Andrew Kerslake.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his son Matt; his sister Patricia Hollenbeck of Sioux Falls; his brother-in-law Wayne Kerslake of Sioux Falls; his nephews, Katie Abernethy (Andy) of Wheaton, IL, Jay Hollenbeck (Jody), Shawn Hollenbeck (Mardee) and Christopher Kerslake (Jessica); and his aunt Agnes Koos of Aurora, IL.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be given in Dan's name to Brandon Baptist Church.
