She was predeceased by: her parents, Dietrich Schmuck and Maymie Schmuck (Wahlert); her husband Raymond Aljets; her siblings, Richard, Gordon Schmuck, Elaine Stroh (Kenneth) and Dorothy Vanderwerf; and her brother-in-law David Hoh.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Baer (Alvin) of Sioux Falls and Bruce Aljets (Donna) of Brandon; her grandchildren, Lee Baer, Christina Lien (Chad), Susie Heineman (Mike) and Ray Aljets (Mikelle); her great grandchildren, Becca Zangara (Nick), Sara Lien, Sophia Baer, Will Heineman, Abbi Lien, Zach Heineman, Hannah Heineman and Marty Aljets; her great great grandchild Lucas Zangara; her siblings, Donna Hoh of Sioux Falls, Jim Schmuck (Yvonne) of Sioux Falls, Howard Schmuck (Dolores) of Sioux Falls, Virginia Bickett (Paul) of Sioux Falls, Steve Schmuck (Debra) of Sioux Falls and Dale Wendland (Gail) of Cerritos, CA; and her siblings-in-law, Thayes Schmuck of Sioux Falls and Sam Vanderwerf of Harrisburg. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
She was very proud of mastering ZOOM calls during the pandemic and held weekly calls with relatives.
