With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alberta Jane Hargens of Brandon, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent C. O. Ridgway; her former husband Eugene Adamson; her husband Chris Hargens; her mother Lola Stack; her brother Ron Simpson; her daughter-in-law Beth Adamson; and her stepdaughter Kathy Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Adamson of Sioux Falls, Karen Jarvis (Bud) of Louisville, KY, Tanya Adamson of Sioux Falls and Roberta Bruget (Jim) of Brandon, SD; her brother Wayne Simpson; her grandchildren, Chelsie (Darren), Nolan, Megan (Paul), Allison (Jon), Aimee, Neil, Jacob (Kayla), Courtney (Tyler), Emma and Julee; and her great grandchildren, Seth, Luke, Sean, Bella, Wyatt, Boden, Gracelyn, Arend, Alexia, Greyson, Lennon, Bodie, Kinley, Zayden and Casen. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
