Ronald Antijunti Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Antijunti (Bradley, South Dakota), who passed away on April 18, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends.

Ron was born on August 19, 1945 in Hamlin County, SD to Walter Sr. and Edna (Woods) Antijunti. Ron attended school in Bryant, SD. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967.

Ron was a jack of all trades, working various jobs from electrical, plumbing, to driving truck. He married Audrey Pearson on May 3, 1991 in Webster SD. To this union, he had 6 stepchildren. Ron was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He loved completing crossword puzzles and creating his own words when playing the Scattergories game. Ron was a member of the Watertown VFW.

Ron is survived by his brother Walter (Jr.) (Wanda) Antijunti of Watertown, former wife Audrey of Watertown, six stepchildren, Brian (Jill) Pearson of Watertown, Kristi Henley of Watertown, Cindy (John) Huppler of Florence, Michelle Pearson of Watertown, Amy (Mark) Mathis of Plant City FL, Jodi Pearson of Webster, 17 step grandchildren, and 8 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Walter Sr. and Edna (Woods) Antijunti, two brothers, Duane Kemp and Kenny Kemp Sr., and two sisters, Amarlys Marino and LaVonne Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Derby Downs (Watertown SD).

A private burial will be held at a later date.
