With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lila Bachman of Bowdle, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lila Bachman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Dumdei (Holweger) and Gust Dumdei; her husband Ray of Augustine's Catholic Church; her siblings, Leona Bollinger, Elvin, Keneth and Edgar; her daughters, Teresa Daniels and Vicki Knecht; and her grandson Jeremy Parkhurst.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Bachman (Kathleen) of Harrisburg and Debra Middleton (David) of Maryville, TN; her brother Ronnie Dumdei (Sonja) of Maple Grove, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Leona Dumdie of Rapid City, SD and Darlene Dumdie of Selby, SD.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lien Funeral Home (3082 2nd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (3023 3rd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428).
