He was predeceased by: his parents, Freida Lee (Feiock) and Arthur Lee; his wife Caroline Mertz; his daughter Janet; and his brothers, James, Robert, Eldo and Loren.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Schmidt (Vern) of Hoven, SD; his grandchildren, Lynn Walters and Kevin Schmidt; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Alexa, Atley, Logan and Emery. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
