She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Stuckel (Schumacher) and Adolph Stuckel; her husband Ralph Dewald; her children, Terrance and Janet; her son-in-law Gordie Huber; and her siblings, Ray, Lester, Willard, Frieda Dewald and Pearl Holovka.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Dewald (Denise) of Silver City, NM, Roxanne Huber of Hoven, SD and Nancy Dewald of Gilbert, AZ; and her brothers, Earl Stuckel of Washington and Ralph Stuckel of Alaska. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lien Funeral Home (3082 2nd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428). A prayer was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (3023 3rd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428).
