With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Hostler of Blunt, South Dakota, born in Dell Rapids, South Dakota, who passed away on June 24, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Baare and Gertrude Francis Christensen (Ellefson); her son Beau James; her niece Patricia Haak; her nephews, Scott and Steven Stahl; her parents-in-law, Margaret and John Hostler; her brother Rolland; her sister-in-law Louise Hostler; her sister Ida; and her brother-in-law Robert Broberg.
She is survived by: her husband John Hostler of Blunt; her children, Shawn Michael (Tracy) of Brookings, SD and Shelbi Schimpf (Rick) of Belmont, MA; her grandchildren, Tryston Hostler, Jackson Schimpf and Molly Schimpf; her sisters, Betty Haak (Jerome) of Dell Rapids, SD and Barb Stahl (Woody) of Onida, SD; her nieces and nephews, Allan Haak (Cathy), Larry Haak (Tammi), Randy Haak (Ronda), Deb Moe (Steve), Bill Stahl (Suzanne), Bryan Stahl, Jon Stahl (Cathy), Amy Jones (Kevin), John T. Hostler (Diane), Christine Messman, Jerry Thomas (Joni), Cody Hostler and Brandee Miller (Brian); and her godchildren, Kathy Falcon, Jon Stahl, Cody Hostler, Brandee Miller, Samantha Barrick and Lindsay Weaver.
