He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Bennett (Rick) of Valentine, NE; his grandchildren, Jared Bennett and Jennifer Johnson; his great grandchild Swede; his son Joshua Dennis Mathews; and his sister Ardis DePoy (Perry) of Eagle Butte, SD.
In lieu of flowers, Swede's family suggests donations to one of the following: City of Blunt - Multi Use Facility, Countryside Hospice, Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude's.
