He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Mitchell and Hilda Mitchell of Blunt, SD.. He is survived by: his children, Dallas "Duck" (Kaylee Ann) and Bobbie Ann "Sissy" (Chyann); his former wife Patti Sowards; his children, Ronnie, Dusty and Christen; and his close friend Johnny Holloway. He is also survived by his five brothers and two sisters.
