She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Salmen and Iona Salmen. She is survived by: her siblings, Wanda Schummer (Glen), Kathy Anderson (Marlin), Jean Mailloux (Doug), Cindy Sinclair (John), Laurie Brink (Darrell), John Salmen (Lydia) and Mark Salmen (Michelle); and her pet Bella. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Sturgis Animal Shelter.
