She was predeceased by: her husband Bert; and her daughter Maxine. She is survived by: her former spouse Berthold Fried; her son Jim Fried (Diane); and her grandchildren, Stephania Smith (Kelly), Drewn Fried (Rachel), Megan Emmons (Philip), Misty Taylor (Kirby), Allison Propeck (Adam), Matthew Fried, Andrew Fried (Abby), Nathan Allart (Katie), Amanda Brengle (Jason), Crystal Pistulka (Ian) and Michael Shannon (Holly). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Whitewood Presbyterian Church.
