She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph and Clara Louise Burke (Monson); her husband Cletus Lester of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Steven Lester; and her grandsons, James Lester and John Jordon Lester.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lester (Jan) of Pierre, SD, James Lester (Cathi) of Pierre, SD, Thomas Lester (Cindy) of Rapid City, SD, Jack Lester of Spearfish, SD, Deberah Lester of Lemmon, SD, Paula Kopren (Dave) of Bison, SD and Pat Jensen of Lemmon, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Brandt (Loyd) of Rapid City, SD and Lana Hill of Whitewood, SD. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (202 E Rogers St, Bison, SD 57620). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
