It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan McMahon of Big Stone City, South Dakota, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Hagedorn and Clarice Hagedorn (Selgeby); her grandson Andrew; and her siblings, Sharon and Roger.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Joe" McMahon; her sons, Marty McMahon of Pierre, SD, Jerry McMahon (Jodi Heida), Dan McMahon of Marietta, MN and Scott McMahon (Kerri Hamann) of Brandon, SD; her grandchildren, Dylan McMahon, Preston McMahon, Lucinda Oakes, Carissa McMahon, Lindsey McMahon and Kaycie DeGeest; her great grandchildren, Wilson, Clara, Brodee, Brydger, Tatum and Carter; and her sisters, Shirley Richardson of Dell Rapids, SD and Darla Leek (Gary) of Belvidere, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is required, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep our facility clean.
