He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gabel and Minnie Gabel (Wilkin); and his wife Marcene Pilska. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Gabel of Alcester, SD, Sherea Risk of Greeley, CO, Sheryl Myers (Brad) of Wentworth, SD and Cindy Gabel (Mark Snoozy) of Billings, MT; and his siblings, Lavern Gabel of Nashua, NH, Melvin Gabel of Beresford, SD and Elaine Hill (John) of Canton, SD.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wass Funeral Home - Beresford (301 N 3rd St, Beresford, SD 57004).
