Ferne Olson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 90, Ferne Olson (Beresford, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigvold Knudson and Ruth Knudson (Peterson); her husband Delmer J. Olson; her son Todd; and her siblings, Stanley Knudson, Ralph Knudson, Marilyn Anderson and Lorraine Knudson.

She is survived by: her children, David Olson (Dianna) of Beresford and Tammy Hiller (Mike) of Key Largo, FL; her grandchildren, Tonya Hansen (Kyle), Ryan Olson (Amber), Brendan Hiller and Emily Hiller; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Melody, Colt and Roper; and her brother Delmer Knudson (Arlene) of Beresford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The service will be live streamed on the Scandia Lutheran Church Facebook page and the church encourages wearing a mask during the service.
