Evelyn V. Redden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn V. Redden of Beresford, South Dakota, born in Canton, South Dakota, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kooiman and Evelyn Kooiman (Ruud); her siblings, Elaine Stevens, Bill Kooiman, Ronald Kooiman, Jim Kooiman and Dennis Kooiman; her half-sisters, Gertrude Fauth, Corneal Lusk and Mina DeBruin; and her siblings-in-law, Clazina Kooiman, Joyce Kooiman, Pete DeBruin and Marinus Maassen.
She is survived by: her spouse Auburn Redden; her siblings-in-law, Rhonda Kooiman of Elk Point, SD and Gene Fauth of Sioux Falls, SD; her half-sister Jennie Maassen of Rock Valley, IA; and her close friends, Doreen and Pete Fahlberg of Beresford. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was a regular attendee at Brooklyn Evangelical Free Church, where she treasured her church family.
