He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herrboldt and Emma Herrboldt (Neu); his adoptive mother Mary Albert (Tony) of Medford, OR; his wife Nona Walker; his siblings, Leon, Eugene, Bertha and Darlene; and his parents-in-law, Georg and Erma Walker.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tim, Kayla, Danie, Katie, Sarah, Julia, Josh and Robert; his brother Alton Herrboldt (Myrna) of Menno; his sister-in-law Noma Sayler (Jack) of Rapid City; and his children, Rod (Karla) of Bakersfield, CA, Mike (Sandy) of Gray, TN, Colleen Green (Chuck) of Alcester and Tina Rollings of Alcester. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Alcester United Church of Christ (602 Mitchell Dr, Alcester, SD 57001).
