Sonja Birkeland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2023, at the age of 77, Sonja Birkeland of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, born in Crandon, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Colborn and Pauline Colborn (Cable); her great grandchild Leah Sayler; and her sister Sandy Coma. She is survived by: her husband Gary of Belle Fourche; her children, Jay Birkeland of Rapid City, Ramon Birkeland (Robbi) of Dupree and Kelly Keegan (Kevin) of Belle Fourche; her grandchildren, Randee, Brandee, Daxton, Raymie, Bailee, Clifton and Dru; her great grandchildren, Teigyn, Levi, Logyn, Hays, Paxtyn, Rory and Loxlee; and her siblings, Sherry Wilhelm of Rochester, WA and Alan Colborn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of purchasing flowers, memorials to the UCC Church in Dupree and Belle Fourche are requested.
