He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Teller and Bernice Teller (VanSickle); his siblings, Stanley Teller, Marcella Kissack, Doris Frankfurth and Jerry Teller; and his nieces and nephews, Jody Teller, Hoss and Cindy Frankfurth.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Traxler of Belle Fourche; his children, Kimberly Bachman (Ben) of Faith, Brian Teller (Lori) of Buffalo and Cody Teller (Ashley) of Phillps, WI; his sister Gloria English (Jim) of Spearfish; and his sister-in-law K. J. Teller of Hermosa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
