With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Sexton of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Sexton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sexton and Margeret Sexton (Bonebrake); his son Jason; and his sisters, Ramona Diaz, Shirley Curl and Penney Sexton.
He is survived by: his children, Joni Sexton of Belle Fourche, Coral Sexton of Spearfish, John Lyman Sexton of Gillette, WY and Jamie Lee Sexton of Belle Fourche; his former wife Del Sexton of Belle Fourche; his brothers, Harry Sexton Jr. of Bath, PA and Jim Sexton of Redfield, SD; and his friend Roger Brimmer. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills (715 National St, Belle Fourche, SD 57717).
