He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas Sr. and Eva Freeman; his wife Elaine Knigge; his daughter Crystal Meadows; and his brother Dwayne Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Thomas of Sturgis and Randy Thomas (Yan) of Midland, TX; his son-in-law Roger Meadows of Pine Haven, WY; his grandchildren, Jamie Sinks (Tony), Joanna Elaine Thomas, Jonathan (Cassie), Christopher Thomas (Madison), Adrian Tarter and Robert Thomas (Krystal); his great grandchildren, Bailey, Marshall Sinks, Lincoln Tarter, Abel Thomas, Ezra, Levi Thomas and Emma Thomas; and his sister Marlys Thomas of Belle Fourche. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
