With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Stanton of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, born in Hot Springs, South Dakota, who passed away on September 10, 2020 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Stanton and Dorothy Stanton (Herberg); his grandsons, Joshua Stanton and Roger Denevan; his sister Bev Gilliland; and his brother-in-law Larry Croft.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sloan of Belle Fourche; his children, William "Casey" (Jennifer) of Flandreau, SD, Jerome Dean (April) of Belle Fourche, Hieth Conley (Heather) of Watertown, Laura Mae Stanton of Belle Fourche, Jeanne Foutz (Tony) of Lander, WY, Charlotte Kolb (Johnnie) of Belle Fourche and Teresa Kourakis of Denver, CO; and his siblings, Loren Stanton (Cheryl) of Piedmont, Eldon, Diane Croft of Rapid City, Brenda Bentine (Joe) of Watertown, Kara Grant of Rapid City and Fern Johnson (Ross) of Rapid City. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
