She was predeceased by: her parents, R. A. Smiley and Mary Smiley (Huntley); her sister Marilyn J. Huntsinger (Smiley); and her son Robert M. Anderson. She is survived by: her former husband William E. Anderson; her children, Alex, Kathryn Anderson and Christopher J. Anderson (Autumn) of Lead, SD; her grandsons, Mitchell and Brett; her son Eric E. Anderson (Amanda) of Connelly Springs, NC; her grandchildren, Erica, Liam and Cooper; and also R. A. Smiley.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Elizabeth's name.
