As Celia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Celia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Celia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Bickerdyke and Naomi Bruner Bickerdyke (Fern); her brother James; and her husband Gary Welch (Joe). She is survived by: her niece Sue Hight; her siblings-in-law, Fay Coffield and Joe Scherr; her nieces and nephews, Sandy and Jacki Limpert; and her friends, Llewellyn and Karen Englehart.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills (715 National St, Belle Fourche, SD 57717).
