He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mike Salem and Clara Salem (Heebner); his wife Alice; his daughter J. D.; his siblings, Reverend Harold Salem, Dr. Phillip Salem, Steven Salem and Mary Louise Freed (Clay); his children, Marlene Davis (Rodney), Aaron Salem (Maureen) and Brian Salem (Jodie); his grandchildren, Ben Salem, Luke Salem, John Salem, James Ryan, Dr. Justin Davis (Holly) and Jessica Davis (Christian Berg); and his great grandchildren, Graham, Hannah and Merik Davis.
