He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Weismantel and Alice Weismantel (Kipp); his wife Eunice Weismantel; his former wife Priscilla Bunsness; his children, Donald Krahn and Robin Weismantel; and his brothers, Wilson, Robert and LeRoy Weismantel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Schmitt (Doug) and Bonnie Brick (Edd); his grandchildren, Mandy Meltebarger (Jeremy), Ryan Schmitt (Breanna), Tony Brick, Annie Brick and Alyssa Bakkegard; his great grandchildren, Jacey, Hailey, Kyley and Jackson; his brother Dean Weismantel; and his daughter-in-law Sue Krahn.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Aberdeen Area Humane Society, AAHS - PO Box 1013, Aberdeen, SD 57402-1013.
