It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Nelson (Batesland, South Dakota), who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brewer and Helen Brewer-Adams (Knight); her stepfather Joseph Adams; her husband Cleveland Nelson; her sons, Mike and Terry LaDeaux; her grandson Billy LaDeaux; her stepsons, Billy Jo and Darrel Nelson; her siblings, Art, Louis, Dave, Fred, Clement, Patrick, Joseph Brewer, Marjorie Gunther, Francine Nelson, Cecelia Bagola, Marie Brewer, Bertha Nelson and Emmeline Keith (Brewer); her brother-in-law Hobart Keith; and her nephew Jonathan Keith.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald LaDeaux (Delores) of Fort Laramie, WY, Robert LaDeaux (Christen) of Payson, AZ and George LaDeaux of Rapid City, SD; her sister Leona Stabler (Brewer) of Pine Ridge, SD; her stepchildren, Helen McClain, Carmen Holt, Berta Cobell and Pat Nelson; and her daughter-in-law Cindy LaDeaux of Plummer, ID. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
