She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix L. Spielmann and Elizabeth B. Spielmann (Ziegler); her children, Joel Bassett, Jr. and Patricia Lamb; her husbands, Leo Glenn Egger and Joel E. Bassett; her grandson Randy Mead; her great grandchild Joshua Mead; and her siblings, Anna Staebell, Magdelan Ahrendt, Rosella Carter, Felix S. Spielmann and Donald N. Spielmann.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Chiodi (Phillip) of Garretson, Jacki Skyberg (Terry) of Jasper, Diane Aspaas of Sioux Falls, Evelyn Mead (Gordy) of Brookings, Glenda Sanow (Dale) of Jasper, Julie Meyer of Jasper, Mona Bassett (Janine) of Pipestone, E. J. and Ronda Wolfe (Scott) of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
