He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schreurs and Elvera Schreurs (Wesland); his former wife Betty Breuer; his grandson Cody Mews; and his brother Dean Schreurs.
He is survived by: his wife Jonnie; his children, Steve Schreurs (Tina), Bonnie Mews (Scott), Rocky Schreurs (Colleen), Shawn Schreurs (Denise) of Centennial, CO, Paul Schreurs (Joy), Jay Schreurs (Jackie), Mitchell, Jess Schreurs (Ann) and Brandon; his brother Duane Schreurs (Marion); his sister-in-law Stephanie Schreurs; and his stepchildren, Daniel Miller, Brian Splan, Karen Simonson, Kelly Denton and Mark Splan. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Baltic Fire Department, Dell Rapids Ambulance, or St Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
