With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Sittig of Baltic, South Dakota, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Oscar Wold and Belva Wold (Tidemann) of Crooks, SD; her husband Don Sittig; her son-in-law Bobby Swenson, Jr.; her brothers, Roger Wold and Harold; her sister-in-law Tressie Sittig; her nephews, Jeff Wold and Bud Sittig; and also Emily.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Sittig, Bob Sittig (Ann), Holly Swenson, Brandon and Brian Sittig (Betsy); her grandson Jacob Sittig; her children, Tom Sittig (Steph) of Aurora, CO., Molly Gors (Zach), Sam Sittig, Lucas Swenson, Ellie Rolenc (Bryce) of Lincoln, NE and Becca Sittig; her great grandchild Cohen Gors; her sister-in-law Rhoda Wold; and her nieces, Sharon Lubeck and Mary Lohnes. She is also survived by extended family and more good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Baltic Lutheran Church or East Nidaros Lutheran Cemetery.
