Renae Jacobsen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2022, at the age of 60, Renae Jacobsen of Badger, South Dakota, born in Watertown, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Jacobson and Dorothy Jacobson (Ries); her granddaughter Mya Renae; her husband Mark; her children, Jordan Jacobsen (Janae) of Brookings, Tanner Jacobsen (Aleece) of Badger and Cassie Brugman (Dylan) of Crooks; her grandchildren, Jace, Maddox, Kemp, Jr., Seager and Jett; her brothers, Chris Jacobson (Pam) of Watertown, Rick Jacobson of Watertown and Tim Jacobson of Rochester; her parents-in-law, Farrel and Linda Jacobsen of Badger; her sisters-in-law, Kim Schroeder (Lenny) of Selby and Sheri Longville (Ron) of Brookings; her mother-in-law Marlys Jacobsen; and her sister-in-law Trish Jacobson. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of gifts, the family requests donations be made in memory of Renae to the Prairie Lakes Cancer Center in Watertown, SD; Avera Cancer Institute in Sioux Falls (Dr. Jason Jones Team); Sanford Pediatric Oncology in Sioux Falls.
