He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Andersen and Anna Andersen (Kallesen); and his siblings, Kenny, Faye and Fern.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine Knodel; and his children, Monica Barker (Don) of Bryant, Jeff Andersen (Emma) of Badger and Jay Andersen (Ruth) of Costa Rica. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
