It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Spilde of Badger, South Dakota, born in Lake Preston, South Dakota, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Kenneth Miller; her husband Kent Spilde; her brother Curt Miller; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Evalynn Spilde; her brothers-in-law, Jeff Quigley and Frank Gentry; her children, Matthew Spilde (Shelly) of Clear Lake, SD and Holly Fischer (Robby) of Roscoe, SD.; her grandchildren, Shiann Hall (Jayson), Kash, Layton, Remyngton of Clear Lake, Curt Spilde of Watertown, Grant Fischer and Jillian Fischer of Roscoe; her mother Darlene Selken (Olson); her siblings, Cheryl Hermandson (Russ, family: Cathy Quigley, Carla Madsen, Char Robertson) and Chuck Miller (Pam); and her sisters-in-law, Paula Miller and Kay Burnison.
