She was predeceased by: her parents, Authur Schaafsma and Helen Schaafsma (De Geest). She is survived by: her husband Gary Baldwin Odens of Avon; her children, Shelly Sorenson (Pete) of Neola, IA, Shane Odens (Missy) of Armour, SD, Scott Odens (June) of Sioux Falls, SD and Greg Odens (Rachel) of Avon, SD; her grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, Emile Sorenson, Mady Oweet, Marie Odens, Lance, Abegael and Lilyanna Odens; and her siblings, Arthur Schaafsma (Carol) of Grand Rapids and Linda Coleman (Steve) of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials should be directed to the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Springfield, SD and the Avon/Dante Pink Ladies Dart League.
