He was predeceased by: his parents, Berhend "Ben" Brandt and Lilly Brandt (Heins); his wife Eleanor; his children, Luverne and Judy Pullmann; his sons-in-law, Art Pullman and Pat Noller; his granddaughter Teresa Brandt; his brother Maynard Brandt; and his sister-in-law Mary Brandt.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Lyla Brandt) of Avon, Rodger (Sandy Brandt) of Avon, Dwayne (Debbie Brandt) of Avon and Norma Noller of Kearney, NE; and his brother Robert (Shirley Brandt) of New Palestine, IN..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (314 N Pine St, Avon, SD 57315). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. Ray lived at home until his health failed due to COVID.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Cemetery Fund, a charitable organization of your choice, or to the family for designation at a later date.
