She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Merkwan and Hattie Merkwan (Uherka); her husband Maurice Anderson (James); her grandson Billy Ewing; and her sister-in-law Betty Merkwan.
She is survived by: her former husband James Williams; her children, Vicki Schuurmans (Jim) of Tyndall, Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls, Lynn Stather (Jon) of Avon, Jim Williams (Dawn) of Alexandria, Jon Williams (Faye) of Avon and Joe Williams (Lisa) of Mitchell; her brothers, Bud Merkwan of Yankton and Marv Merkwan (Rayna) of Tabor; her brother-in-law Bill Williams of Lemoore, CA; and her friends, Ethel Reiff and Irene Cahoy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
Although the services will be open to the public, given current COVID-19 concerns, the family encourages each individual to take necessary precautions and fully understands if you choose to not attend.
