He is survived by: his former wife Sally J. Kurtz; his wife Patricia McLaughlin (Van Overbeke) of Aurora, SD; his children, Amy Anderson (Troy) of Brookings, SD, Corey McLaughlin (Susie Rennich) of White, SD, Lisa Rupert (Brad) of Chaska, MN, Jeff McLaughlin (Brenda Gordon) of Elkton, SD and Brandon McLaughlin (Brittany Carter) of Otsego, MN; his grandchildren, Bretton McLaughlin, Brittany DeRyke, Cortney Argust, Kacey Brown, Brendan Rupert, Caelan Rupert, Shaemon Leach, Shelby Leach, Cooper Van Overbeke and Carson Van Overbeke; his great grandchildren, Roy, Ivy, Carter and Knox; and also, Todd Van Overbeke (Jennifer) of Ivanhoe, MN, Kristi Brewton (Chuck) of Virginia Beach, VA and Buckshot. He is also survived by his five sisters, two brothers-in-law, and many close cousins, nieces, and nephews.
