He is survived by: his mother Teresa Nelson (Rice); his wife Amber; his children, Mazzy Johanson, Payden, Mason and Liam Nelson; his siblings, Jamie Nelson (Chrysanthemum) of Henderson, NV, Jennifer Nelson (Shelby), Tracy Johnson (Dustin) of Orfordville, WI, Darci Gundvaldson (Nathan) and Mark Nelson; his siblings-in-law, Daniela Haas of Sioux City, IA and Joseph Haas; and his grandparents, Leo and Cecilia Rice of Flandreau, SD..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skroch Funeral Chapel (409 E 2nd Ave, Flandreau, SD 57028). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Second Presbyterian Church (101 N Prairie St, Flandreau, SD 57028).
