She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle LaPointe and Dorilla LaPointe (Plante); her husband Gerald Courteau; her daughter Kathy Courteau; her grandson Barry Courteau; and her siblings, Bobby LaPointe, Diane LaPointe and Melodee Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Courteau (Deb), Jeffrey Courteau (Jody), Kristin Monet and Matt Courteau (Angie); her grandchildren, Cayla, Courtney, Wyatt and Jasper; and her siblings, Dan LaPointe, Emery LaPointe, Marilyn Burwell, Michelle LaPointe and Genelle Blackhurst. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
