He is survived by: his wife Esther Effling; his daughters, Lisa Neugebauer (Norman) of Mitchell, SD, Bonita Feilmeier (Michael), Rita Miller (Jeff), Lori Ischen (Lance) and Pamela Zdrilic (Adam); his daughter-in-law Wanda Effling of Artesian, SD; and his siblings, Irene Casanova of Ramona, SD, John Effling (Shirley), Francis Effling (Cleo), Betty Kurtenbach (Daryl) and Greg Effling (Sharon). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
