He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ira and Jessie Eleanor McKillop (Walker). He is survived by: his son Donald; his wife Holly; his daughters, LeAnne Grassel (Chris) and Karrie Stekl (Brett); his grandchildren, Griffin Grassel, Brynlee Grassel, Beckett Grassel, Cooper Grassel, Hallie Stekl and Ethan Stekl; his siblings, Malcolm (Sally) and Laurie Hilles (Mitch); and his pet Smokey. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Robert's name to the Sanborn Central School Library, Forestburg, SD.
