He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hoffman and Esther Hoffman (Dean); his sons, Tracy and Travis; and his parents-in-law, Avery and Marie Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Peterson; his children, Matt Hoffman of Artesian, Melissa Schmiedt (Jamie) of Tea and Tyler Hoffman (Shelly) of Artesian; and his grandchildren, Dillan Schmidt (Emily), Jada Schmidt, Ryan, Ren, Malori Hoffman and Rachel Bucholz.
