He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hartmann and Magdalena Hartmann (Drefs); and his brother Marvin Hartmann. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Hogrefe of Armour; his children, Karen Harrison (Jeff) of Taichung, Taiwan, Daniel Hartmann (Barbara) of Sioux Falls, SD, Maurice Hartmann (Julie) of Mitchell, Ronald Hartmann (Deborah) of Colorado Springs, CO, John Hartmann (Rosa) of Prior Lake, MN, David Hartmann (Joanne) of Armour and Stephanie Kaufman (Jesse) of Sturgis, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Hartmann, Lois Rather and Ray Hogrefe. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
