He is survived by: his wife Darla Leonard of Lake Andes; his children, Danae Gallegas (Carlos) of Dickinson, ND, Devin Loneman (Brent) of Armour and Darcie Malcom (Sheldon) of Brookings; his grandchildren, Hemsley Strain, Roman, Lincoln Gallegas, Reegan, Ryann Loneman, Parker, Grayson and Emersyn Malcom; and his brothers, Gary Laib (Linda) of Armour, Harlan Laib of Rock Springs, WY and Roland Laib Jr. of Delmont.
