He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Wiersma and Minnie Wiersma (Beukelman); and his siblings, Jennetta Neugebauer (Lewis), Frances Holzhauser (Raymond), Arie Wiersma (Evelyn) and Roger Neugebauer.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hawley; his brother William Wiersma of White Lake, SD; and his children, Sharon Weischedel (Howard) of Plankinton, SD, Larry Neugebauer of Ethan, SD, Janice Junge (Ron) of Rapid City, SD and Connie Bruske (Bob) of Ethan, SD. He is also survived by other nieces, and 3 step-daughters.
