Roy G. Keiser Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 61, Roy G. Keiser of Arlington, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Keiser; his stepfather Dwaine Nelson; his brother-in-law Jamie Isaacson; his stepbrother Richard Nelson; and his father-in-law Gene Larson.

He is survived by: his mother Arlene Keiser; his wife Kathy; his daughter Megan Walterman (Evan) of Rapid City; his stepdaughters, Angel Harry (Nate) of Sioux Falls, Trisha Barron (Shawn) of Marion, Amber Urban of Canistota and Amanda Urban of Sioux Falls; his grandsons, Eli and Noah Walterman; his stepmother Donna Keiser; his siblings, Carla Jakeway (Dale), Caryn Isaacson, Roger Keiser (Val) and Carol Maycroft (Paul); his stepsiblings, Tony Nelson (Paula), Kurt Nelson (Jodi), Anita Detmers (Brian), Jimmy Jensen III and Curt Jensen (Linda); his mother-in-law Dottie Martinez; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Larson (Donna) and Nancy Petersen; and his pet Rowdy. He is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren, and one step-great-granddaughter.

An important contribution to the community that Roy was proud of was serving as a volunteer firefighter for the Arlington Fire Department.
