He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Madsen and Allene Madsen (Mohror); his brother Michael; and his father-in-law Walter. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Dooley; his children, Arlington Days, Ryan Madsen (Michelle) of Arlington, SD, Melissa Durgin (Brent) of Welch, MN and Lexie Maher (Robert) of Nunda, SD; his grandchildren, Madalyn and Lane Madsen; his brothers, Larry Madsen (Dianne) of Arlington, SD, Bob Madsen of Black Hawk, SD, Paul Madsen (Jennice) of Brookings, SD and David Madsen (Carla) of Arlington; and his mother-in-law Marieta Dooley. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
