Linda Kathleen Doren Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 73, Linda Kathleen Doren of Arlington, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerald Phelps and Alice Phelps; her husband Dennis Dale Doren; and her brother Jeffery Phelps. She is survived by: her son John Doren (Kerry) of Tulare; her grandsons, Marcus (Dakota), Cody Doren (Mandy) of Arlington, SD, Shawn Doren (Tiffany) of Hitchcock, SD and Alex Doren (Courtney) of Arlington, SD; her great grandchild Emersyn; her siblings, Susan Nemec (Michael), Steven Phelps of Hill City, SD and Raymond Phelps (Angie) of Humboldt, NE; and her pet Scooby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel (305 E Ash St, Arlington, SD 57212). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St John Catholic Church - Arlington (301 Main St N, Arlington, SD 57212).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for memorials to be directed to the Arlington Fire and Ambulance of your local EMS.
