It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRue John Olesen of Arlington, South Dakota, born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewie Olesen and Mae Olesen (Johnson); and his siblings, Marjorie, LeRoy and Loren.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Olesen of Arlington, SD; his son Lyle Olesen (Stacy) of Madison, SD; his grandchildren, Landon, Levi Olesen of Madison, SD and Jaden Chen (Ben); his great grandchild Winnie Chen of Springhill, TN.; his siblings-in-law, Danny Barker and Carol Olesen; and his nephew Steven Barker.
